Whether to honor a god or a hero, many civilizations (ancient or modern) erected colossal statues. In Asia for example, where megalomania sometimes defies the imagination, and it is staggering. Others, however, are much smaller, fancier, they have the gift to tickle us. They make you think, make us smile and strike us by their originality. They have nothing to envy the most gigantic, quite the contrary, they have their history and deserve our attention. Petit tour of the world of these statues not like the others. Your favorite?
