Funny Comedy Wildlife Photography

Hilarious animals have long been neglected by the liberal media, but this year, Paul Joynson-Hicks changed history. Enter the 2015 Comedy Wildlife Photography Awards, a competition founded by Joynson-Hicks to celebrate the silliest photos in the field. And the prize? A 7-day safari through southern Tanzania in East Africa, and a Nikon D750 DSLR with a 24-85mm lens!
“The number and quality of the entries was fantastic,” judge and British comedian Hugh Dennis told Peta Pixel. “The finalists should be very proud of themselves, as should the animals they photographed, simply for looking so funny. Sadly there is no way of telling them.”

Watch as Patrick Stewart Recites a Poem with a Yorkshire Dialect

In a scene from TOWN with Nicholas Crane, Patrick Stewart, of Star Trek and X-men fame, gets nostalgic over his childhood and recites a poem in his native Yorkshire dialect. His mother and aunt would recite the poem around Christmas time every year which is probably why he still remembers it many years later. Stewart was born in Mirfield - a small town in West Yorkshire England.

Wildlife conservation on ice: frozen zoos to save animals

Meanwhile, California’s increasing population means that many more people now live and work in areas that are prone to fire. The consequences of all the fires are remarkable, even from space.
